Jose's Story

This is story wizard story. I hope my friends remember me as humorous and outgoing. I always wanted to be a doctor when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I don't blow off steam. I relax by falling asleep watching TV or playing games. The wildest thing I ever did in High School is still illegal. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have my coffee, my telephone, and my laptop to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My parents are my heros. My inspiration is necessity. Since Chicago, I've lived in: Red Bank, NJ; Lisle, IL; Naperville, IL; Freehold, NJ; now concurrently in Freehold, NJ and Rockledge, PA. I've moved for love and money. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is no one person, because I'd like to see many. I like to ride my bicycle and take hikes. I have many obsessions. My biggest surprise in life is that my life has been so full of surprises and a couple of scratch birthday cakes, too. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the MBR and add on a jacuzzi. My dream home would be another house. My kids have taught me that hard work and luck both matter. I can't remember a teacher I'd love to see again because I'm awful that way. If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to the IRS, then spend the rest on my kids, my wife and myself. I've lived in a dorm, not a Greek one. Campus life was fun. To be truly happy, I'd be travel...Expand for more
ing, seeing the world with my wife. My current age is 50. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be grown up. I was so completely wrong. I work very hard. I aspire to have fun doing useful things. I think my first crush told the teacher I was playing with her hair. My best friend would tell you I'm Joe, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as that guy. I dress business casual to work and wear blue jeans and gym shoes at other times. Style is working my way from the left of the closet and working my way to the right. I've never had a weird job. I share my home with 3 cats and sometimes with my wife and kids, which I find surprising and is hopefully a temporary pain in the arse. My trophies are my patent, prized toys, and kids' artwork. I could waste a lot of time thinking about do-overs. In 10 years, I hope to be having fun. I'm going to get there by doing more of what I like to do thank I do now. My oldest post-SHS friends are interesting people I work with who have a good sense of humor and lunch at about the same time as I do. I don't know that I'd surprise anyone at my high school reunion, I'm just the same as I ever was. My first job was at Mitch's, where I got paid 90 cents an hour to sell candy and make milk shakes. What I remember most about it is that Mitch was a pain to work for. I'm rolling in childhood memories and one day I'll pick the one I want to write about here.
